The thing I find interesting about this creepypasta is I get the sense that there is more than one thing going on here. It would seem that the player is experiencing a ever expanding world inside this game. This world for the most part tends to follow the rules of the game but as the game goes on we start to see Levels that are simply creatures just living. Like the game has become a simulation of sorts and we are watching the creation of said creatures and there world and habitat. The world varies between temples, natural looking places and some places inspired by the game it is set in. But of course the Protagonist is also dealing with the entity Red. Who i believe wasn't originally part of the game and what ever is happening to it. I believe somehow it took over the evolving game and also was abusing and bending things to its will. I don't believe the game becoming so advanced and almost alive is because of Red but i do believe he used it to his advantage. That being said I don't think the game becoming so advanced was the work of technology as it just doesn't make sense. I find it pretty obvious there is something supernatural to the game hence why Red was able to bond with it as he is supernatural too. There are so many questions and things we are not meant to find out or understand as we are solely focused on the point of view of the protagonist of the story. He is as blind in this experience as us. We aren't meant to see the bigger picture and have everything explained to us. We see and learn what he sees and learns. Well thats my theory anyways.
